Normally it takes a lot of patience, skills and ability to find the right spot and the right time in order to make some really cool and beautiful pictures of wild nature. The British photographer David Slater turned out to be much luckier as his animal models were… making photo shoots of themselves!
While preparing to make some pics in one of the National parks of Indonesia David just left his camera unattended for a second, and the next moment the camera was in the hands of one of the black macaques. Very soon the monkey has found the right button and started to shoot pictures one after another! Most likely the animal was attracted to its reflection in the lens. Most of the photos were blurred however there were few truly brilliant pictures!
Black macaques are rare and very smart animals.
David was lucky to become one of the models of the starting photographer.
